This looks to me like bottles of 2 kinds of drink being mixed, and I wonder if this is a message about what "is killing?" I may have the photo content and message wrong, but the image is a strong one.

Seeing the color drain from photo-to-photo also makes an interesting impact. If I have the concept correct, then the fading to black/white would certainly add to the message.

call me crazy but i kept a broken wine glass for years because i felt there was something incredibly beautiful about it. these images depict what i saw in the glass, just was never able to (or even tried to) capture it!
