The Lay of Autumn (La Balada de otoño) I...) I sing with a shattered voice (I...) I sing with a heavy heart There is the deepest well of dreams Echoed a distant song I hearkened to the hallowed voice Stirred from ageless sleep Through this barren soil you came Sweet scent of spring Came and cast the earth in bloom Lent your light to me But now the summer's dreams are bent Like grain against the scythe And memories of blissful days They fall like leaves For autumn's songs are made of loss Of yearning and regret In bitter tone they are recited Uttered with a heavy heart "I sing with shattered voice A tale of marred souls I cry for consumed hearts And springs forever gone" The lights of sun and stars will fade And moon covers its face All the tunes will quiet down And the songs shall die As this wretched heart unfolds Like mouth of furnace grins Inside there's but a blackened cell Full of filth and flames There once was time when I resounded by your side There once was time when I trembled under your eyes What do I hear when you're gone? The wind's harrowing cry What do I hear when you're gone? The sighing of the languid grief Cold creeps in, silver crowns the land Long are the evening now, grave the guilt's weight Stars shriek their emptiness in the darkling sky All the world is but a barrow shrouded in white

The Lay of Autumn (La Balada de otoño) (I. ..) Yo canto con una voz destrozada (I. ..) Yo canto con un peso en el corazón  Allí, en el pozo más profundo de los sueños se hizo eco de una canción lejana Me escuchó la voz sagrada revuelta del sueño eterno A través de este suelo estéril que vino dulce aroma de la primavera vino y reparto de la tierra en flor prestó su luz para mí Pero ahora los sueños de verano están doblados como grano en contra de la guadaña y los recuerdos de días felices caen como hojas Para el otoño de canciones son de la pérdida de anhelo y el arrepentimiento en tono amargo que se recitan pronunciadas con un peso en el corazón  "Yo canto con una voz destrozada una historia hecha de almas estropeadas Lloro por los corazones consumidos y primaveras que se han ido para siempre " La luz del sol y las estrellas se desvanece y la luna cubre la cara todas las melodías se paran y las canciones se mueren Como este corazón miserable se desarrolla como la boca del horno de sonrisas pero en el interior hay una celda ennegrecida llena de suciedad y llamas Había una vez un tiempo en que resonaban a tu lado Había una vez cuando yo temblaba debajo de sus ojos ¿Qué es lo que escucho cuando usted se fue? el viento grita desgarrador ¿qué es lo que escucho cuando usted se fue? el suspiro de la pena lánguida arrastra el frío en, coronas de plata de la tierra largas son las noches ahora, grave peso de la culpa  estrellas gritan su vacío en el cielo oscuro todo el mundo no es más que una carretilla recubierta en blanco
