Fotos Abstractas 1951 - 1952 - 1953 - 1954 Chanson d'automne (En memoria a Paul Verlaine)

Chanson d'automne de Paul Verlaine

Les sanglots longs
Des violons
De l'automne
Blessent mon coeur
D'une langueur
Monotone.

Tout suffocant
Et blême, quand
Sonne l'heure.
Je me souviens
Des jours anciens,
Et je pleure...

Et je m'en vais
Au vent mauvais
Qui m'emporte
De çà, de là,
Pareil à la
Feuille morte...
Los sollozos más hondos
del violín del otoño
son igual
que una herida en el alma
de congojas extrañas
sin final.
Tembloroso recuerdo
esta huida del tiempo
que se fue.
Evocando el pasado
y los días lejanos
lloraré.
Este viento se lleva
el ayer de tiniebla
que pasó,
una mala borrasca
que levanta hojarasca
como yo.
The long sobs
of autumn's
violins
wound my heart
with a monotonous
languor.

Suffocating
and pallid, when
the clock strikes,
I remember
the days long past
and I weep.

And I set off
in the rough wind
that carries me
hither and thither
like a dead
leaf.

Hola Leovi.

The autumn colors are beautiful, but there is nothing about these wonderful pictures which would wound the heart.

How strange that this morning I am reading another poem about time. Paul Verlaine... I learned about him today from your post. I read a few of his poems and I like him.

Chanson... If I understood correctly chanson is a bard. Your images are filled with change, time, past and future. Light is future and shadows are past.

Time flows but it repeats itself in your images. Wonderful and amazing.

Absolutely fabulous art work and made me think.

My admiration and fascination!!!!

A hug.

Gracias a ti he descubierto algunas cosas interesantes.

Love the u- they look like autumn leaves. Those 2 colours were also very popular for homes and appliances when I grew up in the 1960's - my friend's living room was that exact shade of green. :-)

Maravillosa entrada.

The long sighs
Of the violins
Of autumn
Hurt my heart
With a languor
Of sameness.

All stifling
And pale, when
The hour sounds,
I remember
Days of once
And I weep.

And I let myself go
With the evil wind
Which carries me
Here, beyond,
Like the leaf
Which has died.

Lämmin tervehdys pimeästä Suomesta!
