Beautiful. It makes me think of the colours I see when I close my eyes too tightly, trying to fall asleep. Strangely enough, I chose "Insomnia" as the title for today's A to Z post as well.

I Am in Need of Music
I am in need of music that would flow
Over my fretful, feeling fingertips,
Over my bitter-tainted, trembling lips,
With melody, deep, clear, and liquid-slow.
Oh, for the healing swaying, old and low,
Of some song sung to rest the tired dead,
A song to fall like water on my head,
And over quivering limbs, dream flushed to glow!
There is a magic made by melody:
A spell of rest, and quiet breath, and cool

Si en el insomnio que cada uno vive, pudiese apreciar una plácida luna que le observe y apacigüe, con mágicos colores y texturas, como ésta que aquí nos dejas, la insomnia desaparecería para convertirse en energía pura.

To me your photo ties in with Bishop's poem uniquely - one sees a portion of a moon or far away planet symbolic perhaps of nighttime insomnia - symbolic too of partial love, of an unrequited love, again perhaps referenced by the phrase 'inverted world'...
